Aspectos clínicos do coronavírus em pediatria

Resumo
Este artigo revisa os principais aspectos epidemiológicos, apresentação clínica e tratamento da infecção causada pelo novo vírus, denominada Covid-19, na população pediátrica. As reduzidas taxas de adoecimento descritas nesta população e os diversos fenótipos clínicos de apresentação nesta faixa etária fazem com que os estudos agrupando casos bem documentados sejam realizados urgentemente, a fim de que os serviços de Pediatria das mais diversas esferas possam se organizar para um futuro ainda obscuro e de incertezas.
