SOPERJ Journal of Pediatrics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to disseminating research and knowledge in various areas of pediatrics and the health of children and adolescents. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement and qualified dissemination of scientific knowledge, to the improvement of clinical practice, and to the continuing education of professionals involved in the care of children and adolescents.

The journal publishes manuscripts addressing clinical, epidemiological, preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic aspects related to the health of newborns, children, and adolescents. Studies from various areas of pediatrics and related specialties, including neonatology, pulmonology, allergy and immunology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, nutrition, growth and development, adolescent health, public health, medical education, and health policies focused on the pediatric population are of interest.

SOPERJ Journal of Pediatrics seeks to stimulate scientific research in pediatrics and promote the dissemination of knowledge among researchers, faculty, and health professionals in Brazil and internationally, contributing to the improvement of care and the promotion of health for children and adolescents.

The journal publishes original and relevant contributions to child and adolescent health in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, including original articles, literature reviews, case reports, brief communications, and letters to the editor.
